Like but not in love

I’ve been using the free version of this app for a couple of years & although it’s not perfect, it works for the most part. I did just recently upgrade to the pro plan to be able to use the reminders text feature & it’s so-so at best. I would be IN LOVE with this feature if it actually sent out the reminders within the parameters set (i.e. 1 day, 2 day, etc.) BUT instead the reminders can, & in my experience, are delivered up to 24 hours in advance of the reminder times chosen so basically if I choose 1 day prior, my clients receive that notification 2 days prior. What is the point of choosing 1 day if you’re going to send it 2 days?!?! It’s frustrating & should be fixed! I would also love to see the calendar show a confirmed status once my clients confirm their appt instead of having to go back into the text messages to search for their response. I understand this is a little more complicated since clients can actually text back anything besides a “Yes” or “Confirmed”. This app does upgrade features regularly so I am hoping these things can be addressed with an update soon.

Used to be good

This app used to be good but lately it crashes all the time. And it’s not like it doesn’t matter, I’m using this for work as the app suggests. How can I use this for work, when it crashes all the time? Then we reach out to support, and all they say is “we’re working on it.” Looks like you have a lot to work on. I will not renew this subscription.

Worked great until it didn’t

I use this as my work number since we have moved to working remotely. It was fantastic, easily letting me turn off the ringer during off-hours and allowing for a streamlined place for all work calls/texts. Recently, clients have been calling has been telling me that my number is now showing up as “SCAM LIKELY” on iPhones due to Sideline’s fundamental way of operating (they use pilot numbers). This completely renders the app useless. If the people I am trying to get ahold of no longer pick up the phone (or take days to call me back after finally listening to my voicemails), there is no point of having it at all.

standard works pro does not

I had the standard version which worked fine. I decided to buy the pro features at a year subscription, unfortunately the pro features crash the app. After abysmal customer service their response was to ask Apple for a refund… I’m not kidding.

Don’t ask for a phone number. If my phone was working I wouldn’t need an app. I hope victims of abuse sue your application for endorsing criminal activity.

Decent, but not that great.

Not bad but not very useful for anyone who needs more than a simple second line. I haven’t been able to change my auto responses in a month. I’ll be moving on to another service.

Sends Phony Push notifications

If you stop paying, or never start they will occasionally send a “you have missed a call” or “new voicemail” notification. If you respond to the notification it just pulls up the signup page in the app. Disgusting bad pattern, user hostile design, try another app with an honest developer.

Absolutely horrible app. It seems with each update it gets worse and worse. It is so slow and crashes all the time. With this most recent update, it won’t even open at all and just leaves me with a white screen. Everything is up-to-date. I have uninstalled reinstalled, restarted my device numerous times…. and I’ve even spoken to customer service who did absolutely nothing. I have not been able to access my business line now far more than two days and this is causing a huge inconvenience to me my customers and my life!!!!! Do yourself a favor and find another second number service that actually gives a crap and will fix their mistakes immediately and not leave you waiting for days on end with zero solution.

Sideline constantly crashes on iPhone, that is if you can even get it to open at all. When it does open, you cannot scroll the screen, attempting to tap any of the icons at the top to set parameters does not work either… You will sit there for 10 minutes waiting for something to happen, only for it to disappear from the screen. I don't see why I am being charged for a subscription for something that is this horrible. I don't usually leave feedback or reviews, but this application just does not work anymore. Yes I am using the latest iOS on my iPhone, yes I have deleted the application twice and reinstalled it... If you are looking to pay $10 a month for something that doesn't work this is for you. JUNK!
